Borgo Antico Casalbosco

Stayed for 4 nights and hosted our friends and family here as part of our wedding weekend. The staff was so kind, rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and grounds are breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and more than we could eat. This is where you should stay if you’re looking for a Tuscan holiday villa. Cannot recommend more!

Nice location BUT we stayed for two nights. First night, no shower because the water pressure was very low: fixed on day two. Second night: no power in the room, we had to charge our phones in the corridor and use a torch light all night! For 220 euros per night excluding bfast and city tax- never again. Even the 80 euros refund was not enough

The surroundings are very nice and quiet, rooms are also nice but inside they're cold and VERY NOISY. We could hear every single word and move from our neighbours in their bathroom, from our bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen was missing cutting knifes and swift to clean the floor. We had a big issue with our room: we reserved a studio and when they showed it to us, we all (receptionist as well) realised that someone has been smoking in there very much. We had our 2 years old boy and even without him, we definitely couldn't stay in there. So we asked for a solution. They offered us to pay for another accommodation that was bigger because they didn't have any studio available!!! We didn't have any other option, but it's not us who has to pay for they pretending to sell us a room full of smoke. They didn't take any responsibility for this. That room should be blocked and offered only for smokers. The new accommodation wasn't enough cleaned, but we took it anyway as our son was very tired. The reception closes at 18.30 and opens not very early....we had to leave at 8.30 and where expecting to pay that "extra" when they send us the invoice (again with bank transfer like the first payment). They wrote us a very unfriendly email saying that we left without paying! Unfortunately we don't recommend this accommodation.

Perfect stay in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa as a family of 5. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and very private. The pool was very well kept with plenty of loungers for everyone. We even visited their winery and had a private tour which was excellent. Breakfast was not for us but they still offer a good cold buffet. We would pop down to Hub 21 down the road for the most delicious pastries. Highly recommended visiting Pistoia for dinner this is only 10 mins away by car but you are transported to another time, plenty of restaurants and architecture to take your breath away. The hotel was perfect for our time exploring the north of Tuscany. We would definitely return.
